Hope In Allah’s Mercy Ibn Taymiyyah r.a Said

Umar Ibn Al Khattab (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated: “Some Prisoners were brought to the Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him), and among them was a woman who was searching (for her child). When she found him, she embraced him and put him to her breast. Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do you think this woman wouldthrow her child in the Fire?” They said: “No, By Allah, not If she is not able to.” Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah is more merciful to his slaves than this woman is to her child.” (Sahih Al Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, authenticity agreed upon)

Abu Hurairah (R.A.) narrated, Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah has one hundred parts of mercy, and He has sent one between the Jinn, the Mankind, the animals and Insects from which they show compassion and mercy to one another, and from which the wild animals show mercy to their off springs, Allah has kept back 99 parts of Mercy from which He will show mercy to His slaves on the Day of Resurrection.” (Sahih Muslim)

Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him said, Iblis said: “By your Honour, O Lord, I will continue to lead the sons of Adam astray as long as their souls are In their bodies.” To which Allah, the Exalted, replied: “By My Honour and Majesty, I will continue to Forgive the sons of Adam as long as they seek My Forgiveness.” (Musnad Ahmad 27,627)

Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said, Allah, The Exalted, said: “O son of Adam! Even If your Sins reach the Clouds in the Skies and than you were to seek My Forgiveness, I would forgive you and I will not Mind.” (Tirmidhi)

Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When Allah (The Exalted) Completed the Creation of the Heavens and the Earth, He wrote on a Book which is with Him on His Throne:

“My Mercy Overpowers My Anger.” (Sahih Al Bukhari, Book Beginning of Creation, Hadith Number 416)

Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven when the last part of the Night remains and says: “Who calls upon Me so that I may answer him? Who asks of Me so that I may grant him? Who seeks My Forgiveness so that I may Forgive him?” (Sahih Al Bukhari 1145)

Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Those who are merciful, will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be Merciful to those on Earth and the One who is In the Heavens will have mercy upon you.” (Tirmidhi)

Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah has 99 parts of mercy, from one part, the creation show the mercy to one another, and the rest 99 parts are reserved for the day of resurrection.” (Tirmidhi)

Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The one repents from sin is like the one who did not sin.” [Classed as Sahih by Ibn Baz (Rahimullah) and Hasan by Ibn Hajar (Rahimullah) and Al Albani (Rahimullah)]
